FROM POINTS NORTH

    Take the SUMNER TUNNEL to Boston.  If you stay in the left lane it will make your life easier at the other end, but it's not essential so don't panic if you're in the right lane.

 

    When exiting the tunnel, continue straight for 50 feet and go right up ramp to The CENTRAL ARTERY/I-93 NORTH.

 

    Pass the next exit, which should say Causeway Street and take the next exit, 26B, which is for STORROW DRIVE.  (look below “from points south” for directions after you get off Storrow drive.)

 

FROM POINTS SOUTH

     Take US-1, MA-3N, I-93N, Take the NORTH/STORROW DR. exit towards BACK BAY/CAMBRIDGE/SOMERVILLE, exit #26B (look below for directions from storrow drive.)

 

FROM STORROW DRIVE WEST

    You will travel west (the only way you can go) on STORROW for about 1.75 miles.

 

    Take the exit for KENMORE SQUARE, staying to the right for the square.

 

    Turn Right on BEACON STREET (the first street you come to).

 

    Go through Kenmore Square, staying on Beacon Street all the way (about a mile) Beacon is the Center Street exiting Kenmore Square.  There will be a Pizzeria Uno/Hotel Buckminster on your left and a Citizens Bank on your right. 

   

    You will go over a highway and down a small hill.  Proceed through the big intersection. (Almost there)

 

    The next RIGHT is Saint Mary's STREET.  There is a Japanese restraint called THE GINZA on the corner.

 

    Take an IMMEDIATE LEFT into the Alley behind the restaurant.  This leads into SAINT MARY"S COURT.

 

    Drive in about 50 yards and you will see the carriage house with wrought iron in front of a window over some slate, next to a red door. Two doors down is 15A, on the front of the building.  Ring the doorbell and someone will tell you where to park.  Congratulations!  You made it.

 

By Pubic Transport

Take the “C” branch of the Green Line.  This goes down Beacon Street to Cleveland Circle.  Exit at “Saint Mary’s” stop, which is the first stop above ground after Kenmore Square.  Cross Beacon Street and walk down Saint Mary’s Street.  Take a left after the Laundromat into Saint Mary’s Court.  The studio is 100 yards in at 15A.
